Bhastrika Pranayama or Bellows Breath is really good for uplifting your energy. It’s wonderful for working  Manipuri Chakra, the Solar Plexus Energy Center at the navel, associated with courage, sovereignty, self-esteem, self-worth, discipline, drive, passion, and the element of Fire.

This practice strengthens your abdominal muscles and diaphragm alkalizes your blood, enhances appetite, and increases metabolic activity.

If pregnant or on your menstrual cycle, avoid any exercises that apply pressure to the abdomen, Bandhas or body locks, and any breathwork that overstimulates your energetic system or has long breath suspensions.
